Known for being the “oil of the pharaohs”, nigella oil is believed to be Nefertiti’s beauty secret for having the perfect complexion. A vial of nigella oil was reportedly found in King Tut’s tomb (2). Rich in omega-6 fatty acids, which play an important role in the skin’s protective function and structure (2)(3), the oil is known for being great for sensitive and damaged skin. It helps soothe and purify. For this reason, it is indicated for eczema- and acne-prone skin (2).
Also used as a haircare product, nigella oil prevents hair loss, stimulates the scalp, and is indicated for dry and damaged hair (2).
In an amber-coloured glass bottle with a dropper cap to better preserve the oil and provide precise dosing.
