Origin / Cultivation
Geranium Bourbon is a plant native to Reunion Island that belongs to the Geraniaceae family. Its botanical name "Pelargonium" is derived from the Greek "pelargós" which means "stork", because the fruit of the geranium looks like a stork's bill. Geranium flowers are characterised by their fresh and flowery fragrance and are used in perfumery and cosmetics, primarily in the form of floral water.
